International HTL Bad Radkersburg

The HTL (i:HTL) Bad Radkersburg is a cooperation between the municipality (borough) of Bad Radkersburg and the BULME Graz-Gösting, one of the most renowned higher technical learning institutes (upper secondary technical colleges) in Austria.

The cooperation between the municipality (borough) of Bad Radkersburg and the HTL BULME aims to provide young people from Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia with a common training to become engineers. As a result of this the graduates should be able to establish and develop a cross-border market and help to promote the economy and culture of the Adria-Alpe-Pannonia Region.

The students are trained in electrical engineering and from the third form on they are offered an in-depth consolidation course in plant management and medical technology.

Furthermore, students receive intensive English language training with the objective of using English as a working language. Students of the second and fourth form attend language courses in English-speaking countries as well as do special projects to improve their technical and commercial English skills. Interdisciplinary projects outside of  the regular English lessons promote the use of English and the students´ rhetorical skills so that the English tuition is more efficient and does not put too much strain on students in the regular English lessons.
